I honestly consider the N64 era pretty old now given that it's been 15 years since it's introduction, same could be said for the GCN at this point.

they're not really newer generations in my opinion.

Retro usually denotes a vintage of 15-20+ years. Despite this some people use it differently.

I remember reading a review some guy did on a game that came out in 2008; The review was made in 2010, yet he called the game "retro". Some of the most ignorant shit I've read on the internet, and that's saying something.

Anyways, this game has a surprisingly high amount of content, check this out;

Star 1 - Beat all levels with Mario
Star 2 - Beat all levels with Luigi
Star 3 - Get all Gold Flags
Star 4 - Get all Star Coins in the levels
Star 5 - Defeat Bowser

Just with the first two stars alone that's two mandatory playthroughs of the game. 16 worlds with 5-6 levels each. It was worth the $40 investment; I have a feeling I won't be done until next week.

You guys know that you can still play your DS/DS Lite/3DS while it's charging, right...?

You just have to sit close enough to the plug-in so the cord will reach. Of course, I have plug-ins right next to me so...

This game managed to last me a solid week, though I still have an urge to play it. The "bonus" level you get for getting 5 stars wasen't nearly as difficult as Galaxy 2's Perfect Run imo.
