Rayman Origins: Darktoon

So I decided to get back into spriting.
Being that this is the first time I've done any spriting in months, I decided to make something that is fresh in my mind. A Darktoon as it appears in Rayman Origins.
Welllllll.....

Yeah.
I liked how the main body, eyes, and hair came out, not so much his teeth and arms.
P.S. It isn't shaded in because it looks better without shading.

Man, can't wait for that game bro! Rayman was the first game I ever played!

Well it could use some more contrast and anti-aliasing. I understand not doing shading, but perhaps you could have had a gradient effect going on instead of a sort of outline that makes it look more pillow-shaded than adds any readability. Maybe you should try making it larger, that could help with the readability.
