And also, you can get the upgrades with 3d ripper dx and separate them so you can include them seperately Incase you didn't saw my question. But this question is very important to me because I want to rip models from SA2.

I'm surprised you changed your mind, but I'm glad to hear it.
I'm not really familiar with the game files, how it handles alternate models and such, etc. The best way to get a specific list would to look at Doronetty's rips, but here is a quick list to give you a general idea:
-Alternate character models, such as those used for talking
-Power-ups
-Snowboards
-Any other objects included in Doronetty's original rips
And as I mentioned earlier, you don't have to group the models the same was as Doronetty did.

Did SADX have different models in cutscenes? I though there was just the face morph. (04-29-2012, 11:13 PM)Peardian Wrote: I'm surprised you changed your mind, but I'm glad to hear it.

@ Peardian: OK, great! BTW, I got Sonic almost done. I got:
Sonic Normal
Sonic Cutscene
Sonic Rolling
and
Sonic jumpball
So... It's almost finished
@ thegameexplorer: The cutscene head is a whole new model entirely. That is what makes some parts of the game impossible to hack as of now.

If I reveal that, people will rip like heck and I won't be able to rip anything.

Use Daemon tools to mount the .cdi, this will allow you to browse the contents of the .cdi.

@tge: It don't use bone animations, I can tell you that :p I am not 100% sure what kind it uses, but they are either frame or vertex animations, yes.

Frame is a kind of animation. You animate with bones or the vertices and for example, if you animate the fifth frame, it will automaticly make a smooth transition to frame 5. Thats keyframe animation.
