I never put in my YouTube or Deviantart...?

Do the mods control our profiles too? I ask this question because I noticed that there is a link to my YouTube and DeviantART under my icon even though I never inserted a link to them anywhere...
And if so, how did they find out?

Maybe because you put them there and you ended up forgetting that you did do so.

The mods would only change someone's profile if there is something that goes against the rules.
