Sonic unleashed was my first Sonic game since Sonic 2 and I loved it. The thing is that the Sonic Generations cutscenes are nowhere near up to scratch with the Sonic Unleashed cutscenes. The Sonic Unleashed cutscenes were much better rendered, they actually used level maps rather than "white world stage sets", the characters had some emotion, the rendering was better, there was more going on and Sonic Unleashed actually had a storyline.

I will say though that in terms of gameplay, I enjoyed Sonic Generations far more.

Ohhhh everybody HATES Sonic Unleashed! I mean they hated Werehog Chip Sonics voice his voice is ugly in generations. In Shadow the Hedgehog to Sonic Unleashed his voice great not bad like everybody says. Do you agree? Well not to ugly its just not as good.

I really didn't appreciate the addition of the werehog, it was completely unneccessary. I liked chip and his voice and also prefer Jason Griffith to Roger Craig Smith but I will say Jason's voice acting was bad in Shadow the hedgehog and Sonic 06. Not terrible but not good.

But they used a simpler more lazy technique for generations which made them look more like this:

See what I mean?

Actually the Generations style render looks better than the unleashed render in this picture. I know what I did wrong. The generations style one had ambient light with a shadow light when it should have been an ambient shadow light
