You either love really desaturated colors or your monitor has bad settings, huh? ;-)
I think the skin tones could go with more contrast and some hue shifting. The red markings melt with the skin due to the low saturation. His belly looks quite flat.
Some of the lines are rather jaggy and you have banding in several spots. When applying anti-aliasing, place single pixels carefully and don't follow the line with a second.
The tongue and nose should drop shadows on the face and the teeth should have a little gap to make room for the tongue.


I only illustrated some of my thoughts here, it's not polished. Focused on the big one mostly.

Is that saliva? It looks a lot like he's just foaming. Remember that saliva is generally relatively clear, and not 100% opaque white.
