I remember this game, I also know the the 3rd boss is a mechanical Lava Fish that eats the platforms or something.:V

I loved this game! And that lava fish you were referring to Snivy was the one that indeed ate the platforms, similar to one of S3K's later bosses. Only diffrence is that he shoots out pellets (and of course idiotically, the pilot and the bananna heal item) and can be harmed by you, not himself. The stage that follows is the airship where you confront Captain Fleagle in hopes to save the princess and defeat Devilgus' industrialist empire.
