I didn't know that he voiced Mermaid Man in English
I grew up with the dutch version so it's not that hard to understand. RIP Ernest Borgnine

Mermaid Man's in the game, but I've been having trouble getting to him. His .dff model doesn't work, so I've been trying to take a 3D screencap with a program that captures OpenGL into an .obj. For some reason all the objects and characters are cluttered together in one spot. Most of the time they're completely hidden, especially in big maps. I got Barnacle Boy, Larry, Gary, and a lot of generic citizens doing this. Getting them was easy because they're found in small maps. Mermaid Man is in Shady Shoals, but he's sitting down, and the Mermalair is HUGE, and I can't find where everything is cluttered together.

Okay I'm back with more, and yes, I welded the vertices and checked their mtl's.

Still not the right boy, you really should consider getting the student version of 3DS Max or blender. Or else I can't really help you as in actually teaching you how to fix it because Misfit 3D simple does not have the functions the edit the normals of a model. So fucking cheap.....

3DS Max is confusing at first, but after watching some tutorials it's not so hard.
Thanked by: Garamonde

I just started watching this tutorial (obviously you'll want to watch the rest or most of the parts after the first because it'll teach you a few things about models in general too) the other day so I could get to grips with stuff when I went to fix Charizard, so I'm sure it will help you.
(Yes it's for 2010, but the interface is mostly the same as 2009 so you shouldn't have too much trouble, plus like it says this really is the best tutorial on 3DS Max you can find)

I'd go for 2010 because it's far more user friendly and also makes advanced stuff easier.

What if I used Milkshape?

If you want a free program, why not Blender?
