Shading is all about where the light comes from and how it illuminates the object.

Keep in mind your colors need decent contrast to work. In your sprite, the green outline is barely distinguishable from the green fill.

No-one here is perfect at spriting, and everyone here is perfectly willing to accept criticisms to their work in order to improve. Since you aren't, you will NEVER improve, and with that sort of self-righteous attitude, no-one will sprite for you, either. You're not great at spriting. Get your head out of the clouds and stop with the ego.

Please stop, we're trying to help you. You have to realize that just because we're straight to the point doesn't mean we're attacking you. Even if a few people were being a little hard, the thing to do is just look past it, and try to find anything helpful that they may have said in their posts. If they say your colors are bad or your lines suck, calmly ask them if they can be more specific in describing the exact problems and how you could fix it. Everyone's critique is perfectly valid and it'd benefit you to take them to heart and use them to improve. Some people are easier about it than others, but the ones that aren't as easy about it do it to see if you can handle it. If you can't handle it then you won't be able to develop. Look how these guys got to where they are, they had it really hard, their critics were relentless and tore their work apart, and sometimes they wanted to just give up, but eventually, they got stronger and learned that not everything in life is delivered to you on a silver plate. You have to go and earn your success. It takes hard work and patience to achieve greatness. This is your best chance at making great sprites. You've got it easy here compared to what they went through so if you leave you'll be missing out more than you realize. Please just calm down and listen to us. We genuinely want to make a great spriter out of you, and you could definitely do it.

Everyone. I'm so sorry for my behavior and that I typed in. I just got frustrated in less than a month ago.

I'll prefer requests from now on. Or at least I get a full version of Photoshop, because it's expired.
