Personally I like it without outlines, but the colors would have to be more contrasted to make it work.

Yeah, that's what I was feeling too. I need to not only contrast, but likely to up my hues a little bit. I'm thinking of changing the colour scheme to blue and red

I like the version without the black lines.
Go to PixelJoint and look at the bulk of their iso stuff. You'll notice most people use black lines to show depth and volume instead of shading and it's pretty lazy. To make the tiles "pop" I'd suggest looking again at the majority of PJ to learn what not to do and not making everything so stiff and cubicle. try to make things more natural while keeping the perspective. (also there is still quite a bit of good iso on PJ too just not as much as the bad iso)

For some reason I like the outlines more but since I'm far from a professional I guess it doesn't matter lol.
But as far as that line going across those bottom tiles to show the corner goes, I feel like you should make it more noticeable because my mind keeps trying to trick me into thinking the tiles are curving downward like a tiny slope for some reason.

Tell us more about the atmosphere of this room before asking us what we'd see as a good palette.
What is this place? What time is it? Where is it? Etc.

Chris I love it when you give crits and I try and learn a little bit from it every time.
It's like a composure for a model shot: a fake kitchen that's set up to look nice. It's mid morning, the dew is on the trees. I'm a skeleton. Look at your man, now back to me, etc. Thanked by: Chris2Balls [:B], Gwen
