Yes, I know this isn't the 500th time you've seen someone say he's making a game, but I'll go ahead and say it anyway.

I'm making a beat-em-up game.



Inspired by the manga Jackals.

I just wanted simple animations, Cave Story in mind. He will whip out his sword only when he attacks. Kinda like in the Castlevania games.

I saw the animation in Flash, and I think I'll add more frames. I'll make it an 8-frame walk because this is too choppy.

Hello, wigglejuggs, this is not an eight-frame cycle, it is a six-frame cycle, but I tried the animation out and it works.

Can someone recommend a completely free animating software?

I posted the way I posted back then, except for the pretending to be new shindig.

The problem was you guys couldn't get the label off me. It also helped a lot that every post I made was immediately followed by three posts - nick's, suiginshawn's, and nick's clone. It was cool to have my own posse, but it got old.

Yeah and about the sprites, I made a sword pose but it's back home.
