Hey guys,
New here.. I was looking for the FAQ on the site. I wanted to make sure that I can use the sprites on the "Spriteers-resource" website for a game development with out getting in trouble, maybe I am blind or something but can anyone point me in the right direction? or maybe say yes, or no

Depends.
You should never use sprite sripped from official games in a commercial game. A free fangame should be alright, although some companies don't like that either. Note that some rippers would like to be credited.
Custom sprites should be fine to use, although some require you to contact the creator first. Also, don't forget to credit the creator.

Yeah, I though so. I have no problem giving credit though as they do deserve it, but I think I am better with creating my own, since I have already emailed a few and most haven't answered in weeks.. one of them wanted a load of cash for a free game that I will be making.. so yeah! lol.. I better start hitting them books than. Unless I have another alternative.
