I was following Koopal's advice and moved it up a pixel.
Then when I compared it to official sprites I noticed it looked off. I honestly think the mouth makes more sense like it is because it gives a better sense of depth. It looks like Kirby has cheeks now~ It's your call though

Well, I usually look at KSSU/KNiD/KatAM for refs. The old sprites aren't that good for reference.
Also, little update~! The tutorial is on it's way!

But the mouth position is the same for KSSU?
Also, Kirby never opens his mouth that much unless he's inhaling. This is the most he opens it. Thanks for fixing the shading on the jump btw~

honestly Kirby's mouth looks fine to me. having it up more just looks weird actually (unless you move it left a pixel).

I don't want to sound pushy or complain, but it at least needs to be moved up a pixel.
If you remove the smile it looks weird like it is. Moving it up makes it more normal and moving it right gives Kirby's head a more 3D feel to it because it's where his mouth would be. (His cheek sticking out a little) I can see why it looks pleasing when it's low, but it's just not very accurate. (Not saying it has to be accurate though) I'm sorry if I'm overstepping boundaries... See, the thing is is that I'm not making it exactly like the original sprites. I'm giving the sprites some artistic flavor, so it's not going to be 100% accurate. Kirby smiles in some games of his.
