Just released my first E.P an hour ago.
It's free to download unless you want give me money for 10 minutes and 52 seconds of noise haha
It's hosted over at bandcamp. Just click on the E.P cover to get there.

Hope you enjoy it.
I would certainly enjoy some feedback/ criticism on this if anyone has any.

Thanks

I was expecting more of a Witch House sound based off of that cover art. But this is really cool at least I think it is. The only real crit I have is that the first song's choppy bits are a bit ear piercing at anything above mid volume when listened to with headphones. Through my speakers it didn't have that quality. I'll be making a purchase as soon as I finish semester's tuition payment.

haha it's funny that you were expecting it to sound more like witch house. That's something I'm really inspired by but I need more than just LSDJ to create something like that. My aim for my next release is to sound more like Salem or something.
You can get my E.P for free if you want it right now, but I appreciate that you are also considering purchasing my E.P.
As for the ear piercing choppy bits, I will try to make them less deafening.
Thanks for the feedback!

For the sake of manners I'm gonna put this behind a spoiler, since I'd rather people listened without any preconceptions.
Fair warning: I can come across a bit harsh with this stuff, especially since I'm putting it all together in a block like this.

All that said, it's reasonably competent enough, I'd be interested in hearing where you go from here given a larger timescale and more experimenting.
Keep it up, you've got a good foundation to build on here.

(If you're interested I've got some friends who run a little station, once you hit the mark I'm sure I can strongarm them into getting you some airtime in the rotation, I'd love to get some more lo-fi on the air)

but you've always called me sir when you've invaded my dreams.

Totally right. I'm more than aware of those little clicks and stuff. It was actually the recording software I was using (Ambrosia). For some reason, it doesn't respond well to lsdj. I'm back to using Audio High Jack Pro. I haven't re-recorded any of these though. I think I'm kind of done with that whole "dubsteppy" style. 48 hours is enough haha
But I will most definitely take your criticism into account for anything I put together in the future. I need to clean it up and keep it more varied.

Thanks for the Feedback!

I had a little jam session recently with a friend of mine and ended up putting together a little dreamy track. I wrote a couple of melodies and simple basslines together in lsdj then we recorded each track separately and EQ'd some and put a bit of reverb on etc. We also incorporated other instruments.
Though it isn't part of my 48 e.p I feel like it would be silly to open an entirely new thread for just that one track. I would very much like some feedback this too. We're pretty happy with the outcome and are thinking of working on more stuff a like. So any criticism would be useful to any of mine and our future projects also.

That could be cool. Trying to progress toward a more kind of witchhouse sound. I'll keep posting and you let me know when you think it works. Music isn't really my strongest point so it might be some time haha
Thanks, that's really kind of you dude Big Grin
