For those of you who know at least a little Korean, do you know of any good sites to check out for absolute beginners? I'm starting to try teaching myself Hangul but don't really... well, know any Korean to apply it to.

Check your local library.

Most libraries nowadays offer a free online-language service. The one that's prevalent in the Tri-State area is called "Mango", but you might have another, similar service such as Pronunciator. It's pretty good, if, well

you're an absolute beginner.

You usually just need a library card to use it, but you'll most likely have to make an account on the service's site, too in order to use the service.
Mango actually has pirate-speak as a learnable language =:0

You might want to quote this post in the OP, if it turns out you like Mango/Pronunciator/whatever.

also embedding Pronunciator's promo video for maximum hilarity (i lost it at 0:49)

I wish I want to learn the Japanese language so I can understand the writing and speech, it's tough learning but I'm getting used to trying a new language.

English, Esperanto, Dutch and Spanish. Though, I think I speak very well in English even if my study isn't complete.
