This is actually a very appropriate time to use this link. Seriously, this was crowd funded and they have yet to so much as release their product. How is this in any way legal? Thanked by: Omnikariz

Quote:this was crowd funded and they have yet to so much as release their product. How is this in any way legal? If what I heard was true, the Kickstarter campaign promised the beta ones, and they did release those. Also, I'm not sure legally binding the Kickstarter campaigns are, considering there was that guy who was funded to make and send out a bunch of children books, but made them and burned them instead Thanked by: psychospacecow

I'm lost here.
Like, what do people actually think this means? It's already been made clear that Oculus isn't even moving headquarters, and that they're still developing the exact same thing they were before. If anything this deal means they're better funded and have more administrative and legal support, not to mention the clear market advantage. True enough this probably means there will be some kind of Facebook specific software at launch, but it's an interface, not a standalone device, it's not like they're gonna lock it down so you can't do anything else with it. Oh, I know nothing is really going to change. Facebook bought Instagram, and they didn't run it into the ground.
I just wanted to complain |
