They'll probably do what they did with HG/SS. They'll take the original 3rd version, then essentially remix it with new minor plot points, little attractions, new spots to support features added in later games, ect. I hope they do what they did with FR/LG and add a lot of new areas with a decent amount of new story things.

I also hope Juan is the 8th gym, Wallace is the Champ, and Steven is on Meteor Falls again with an even stronger team. To be honest, Wallace was a really dissapointing champion, unlike Steven, who could wreak you up in seconds. Seriously, that stupid Metagross/Claydol gave me so much trouble back in Ruby. I can't say I've ever had any trouble with Pokemon. Since it's just rock paper scissors, you could be 10 levels under and still just about OHKO everything that you have a counter to. Phoebe of the Hoenn Elite Four had some Dark/Ghost types, which have no weakness, and thus take a few more hits, but nothing really overbearing. I place a personal limit where I don't use items in trainer battles. Before and after is fine, but not during. It's unfair that we can use x99 or x999 Full Restores, or Revives when the other trainers can't use a single Revive or more than x Full Restores.

Considering we could get both Ho-oh and Luigi in HG&SS, I'd bet we'd be able to get both Kyogre and Groudon in a single game, especially if they use elements from Emerald which again, if HG/SS is any indication, they will. One thing I'd like to see between the versions would be the amount of water/land based on the version. This would mainly effect newly added areas, or just small side areas, but it'd be neat if in OR there were places with more water where as in AS the same areas would have more land (or vice versa, whatever). Each version could have both legendaries, but one Mega.

Also, I really hope they do away with roaming legendaries in this game. Maybe it's just me, but running back and forth, hoping that they didn't randomly launch themselves to the other half of the map, that just isn't fun (especially the legendary bird thing in X&Y where you had to randomly encounter it 12 times or so). I much more prefer getting to discover a new, mysterious area and find the big legendary hiding away at the end. If there are roaming legendaries then, as I said, PLEASE don't do it like in X&Y. See, the issue is that, as far as i'm concerned, that isn't fun, it's tedious. Thanked by: psychospacecow

That's funny because I always thought that the only good spouse for any respectable Wailord is a Skitty.
