From what I played of Sm4sh on a 3DSXL, I don't mind it too much, although naturally holding a relatively "sharp" and thin console for long-term Sm4shing does get a bit uncomfortable. I should totally rig up a grip for my 3DSXL with handles shaped like a GCN controller; I bet I'd feel more at home.
Hmm, the Five Below near me does sometimes stock shoddy aftermarket GCN controllers...

Believe it or not, the 2DS is comfortable as all get out, especially for Smash
(In my experience any way)
I don't have that much of a problem with holding a 3DS or 3DS XL, except for when it's a racing game. It's the PSVita that I have a problem with holding, especially when it comes to games like BlazBlue.
im scared when the day i get sm4sh, ill get so much into the battle that i shake a lot and drop my 3dsxl
anyways, thanks to my bday $$$, im able to download this game day 1!!

I'm super disappointed we won't EVER get a remaster of this.

There's always the Wii U version man. With all the Mother 1 love going on in Smash, I wouldn't doubt it
Thought I'd bet this one would have priority

Mine's fine. Some people are super agressive when playing fighting games though

Well, it DOES tell you to smash the stick for a smash attack.

It just goes to show you how spastic and aggressive the majority of the Smash community can be.

It's terrifying to know that there are some people who get so hostile when playing a game that's simply about cartoon video game heroes comically beating each other up. I doubt the other fighter game communities are anymore gentle, though…

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!
I haven't played the game nor the demo yet, but the 3DS does have a pretty crappy analog stick. That said, I don't think the analog stick would break off unless you were to be REALLY aggressive with it.

I dunno if it's the majority of the Smash community period that's so "spastic and aggressive", but I'd at least agree that this could be said about the majority of the competitive Smash community. It makes me simultaneously saddened and annoyed to hear tales of how some competitive Melee/Brawl players go through like three GCN controllers every year because of how they hammer the living befuck out of the control/C sticks.
