Baby park was fun because getting hit by an item in MKDD was probably the least punishing in the series, its practically a 5 lap map for RNG item hilarity; you could also stack items and characters had ridiculous specials to mess around with. It would only be frustrating and dull in MK8, but people can't think about this and want it anyways...

N64 Wario Coliseum is the only Mario Kart 64 track that hasn't been remade in any form.

Of all game franchises I'm really surprised this is the one that get's the first Nintendo seal of "We need this game to keep being fun and relevant, give em more!" Also 200CC is testing for new F-Zero New Star Fox is for car to R-Wing mode for new F-Zero mode. Gaming is saved. #2020

I told my friend I wanted DS Bowser's Castle and either GBA Cheese Land or GBA Ribbon Road.
I didn't expect to get both GBA courses. Huzzah! But no DS Bowser's Castle or any retro Bowser's Castle course. (Neo Bowser City doesn't count). Mildly disappointed by the fact we now have 3 Rainbow Roads and only one Bowser's Castle, but still CHEESE LAND and RIBBON ROAD!!! Wait, where are the Lil' Mousers?

You guys are not going to believe what Nintendo referenced in one of those new DLC tracks.

You think this is like this in the Japanese release of the game, or is this only done by the localization team? On the bright side, at least Lakitu's not doing that eyebrow thing most Dreamworks characters are known to do in movie posters.

Judging by when the update came out for Smash Bros. I'd say it's probably the same time - midnight.

A part of me really wants to get this game for 200cc and the DLC. At the same time, I really want to hold out and get splatoon.

(I mean Cheese Land AND Ribbon Road? that's a win win right there.)

I always planned to toss Mario Kart 8 because it was too slow, but since 200cc was announced I only very recently got the first DLC pack and unlocked the rest of the cups... :V
