Updated the lot. Also changed Gordon's name from Big Engine to Express Engine.
Since it looks like you've got quite a few submissions, it might be better for an admin to make you a helper in the icon renovation project so you can update them yourself. You will need to ask staff for any more name changes, though.

I'll ask Pete to add you to the icon renovation team

There should be monthly update on the total progress and how many were made till the last update, like the update from the main page. This would give more attention to the project and more people would be helping i think. And, im just curious to see many are remaining. Also, it would be nice if the red overlay (that tells us that a game have icoms to change) was updated.
As far as progress goes, you can monitor it in real time at http://www.vg-resource.com/icon-stats.php. Giving it more formal attention definitely wouldn't hurt though.
As for the red overlay, updating it is a manual process done by admins when they see a complete game with icons verified as acceptable. If you notice any complete games that are still red though, feel free to post them here and we'll take a look.

I've decided to get back into icon renovation, would it be possible to have some sort of easier way of finding games that still need new icons? Browsing through just under 5,000 games looking for red names is a bit tedious. Especially now that the majority of games (at least on TSR) are already done.
Also, I'd like to help making icons for TTR as well, but I've noticed how some games like Final Fantasy 4 use models as their icons. Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to go about rendering something like that, so would it be acceptable to just do it like the icons in Final Fantasy 3? Or should we try to keep the new icons as similar to the old ones as possible?

I'll try to get a page up tomorrow that directly links to each game still requiring new icons. I can't guarantee it will be 100% accurate since marking a game complete is a manual process but it should definitely make the process easier. Remind me if you happen to catch me online.
I can't answer the second half of your question though. I'm sure Dazz will chime in on that one.
I'd like to think renders would be better, but agree that we aren't all able to do that. I think just doing it like FF3 is a logical move and one that we'll do for now. If anyone gives enough care, they can change that in the future.

Sweet. I admit that renders do look better, so I certainly do encourage people to make icons like that when they can.
Also thanks for that page! That should speed up the process, and hopefully make it easier for you guys to check completed games as well.
Just now (before that page was made) I actually went through the arcade section and made a list of all the games up until P that I either found with completed icons, or made icons for.

Oops... I thought I had made something along the lines of what you asked for but I couldn't remember for sure at the time (I blame being tired). It's definitely much easier than hunting for games manually so I hope it will be of some use. And for reference, it also works on tMR and tTR.
