I'm with you on that. In the old days of Dynasty Warriors, much fewer enemies could appear on screen, making 1000+ KO requirements total bullshit.
I'd be willing to incur a graphical downgrade for regular enemies, though. They are more or less fluff.
Also, if DLC like Midna and Tingle are included, I hope they at least give those characters new costumes or weapons that they weren't able to have originally since they were dlc. For that matter, I hope for different Adventure maps, and different playable maps for that matter. woah I'm tired
Basically, I want the world.
i think ill pass on this one, just like the wii u version. too much repetitiveness for my likings :0

Despite creating this thread, I never actually went and bought Hyrule Warriors. But a relatively cheaper N3DS version really does strike my fancy.

pretty excited for this one, hyrule warriors was a lot of fun and i still haven't finished it yet, planning to return to it some time this summer. but i might as well not now that this 3DS port is coming out. but i probably won't include all the ( dlc ) maps
also watch them add every fucking character except for skullkid

I hope they treat this as an opportunity to release actual Hyrule Warrior Amiibos.

I certainlly hope not! =)
I'd rather wait for an original Zelda title with really breathtaking character design for them to release amiibo for...and also for Nintendo to get a grasp on their issues with amiibo before doing so :v

I'm sure we're going to get those with the release of Zelda Wii U regardless.
But what I want is a figurine of that sexy samurai Ganondorf. Rowr.

Hmmm… Do I smell the possibility of Sonic being a playable character?
EDIT: I snooped a little in the comments section for a Gamexplain and realized that it's very likely to be fake.

It's totally fake, but I wish it was real.

It probably is, but after what happened with the "fake" Splatoon leak regarding the Zapper, I'm just not entirely sure.

That's so hilariously fake I don't even know where to start jfksljhg
For starters, all the shading in that image is horribly inconsistent and you can actually see where the shopper did a shitty job at cleaning up the background near sonic (it's literally a square chunk of the BG color he just left there)
also, in Nintendo advertising they'd use the Roman letters "amiibo" because Japan just Loves English
p.s. virt whew

I forgot to mention that this image was claimed to be posted on Sega of Japan's Twitter account right after the video was leaked. Once that got taken down, the tweet got taken down too.
But eh.

I think the biggest proof that it's fake is the fact that it doesn't follow the same layout as the one we saw for Tetra & King. For them it was:
Item Transferring From ==> Characters ==> Game Transferring To
For the Sonic one it was:
Character ==> Item Transferring From ==> Game Transferring To
Implying that ... we can get the Sonic Amiibo in the game as a result of having Link-Sonic? That doesn't make any sense.
