I'd like to see more Oracle characters too. If Link's Awakening gets referenced, I don't see much they could do with it. Maybe Talon eats a shroom and becomes a Raccoon again. Actually...

ghirahim better be playable, or else they've fucked up big bad time
he's like one of the best villains i've seen in years oh also all this is nothing more than a build up for the moment they're going to tackle marjora's mask and skulld kid becomes playable and we all explode

Like, they should settle and make him playable in this AND Super Smash Bros. *cough cough* *smoothly force opinions on developers of both games*

Musous don't have a tradition of making villains playable, so I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
Still, it could happen

Which ones are you referring to? Because every one I can think of had playable villains.

Huh, maybe that was just One Piece's case then? It missed some bosses in the first one like Crocodile, or Mihawk etc, but the second one added those... but there were still some unplayable villains

Probably not this time, but do you think that any potentially playable characters in this game may appear in Smash someday?

Well, we'll only find out if there will be playable villains either when it comes out or if they announce one. Hopefully soon.
The only excuse I would accept for no playable villains would be that there is really only one long campaign, thus there is no villain mode. I won't like it, but I would find that excuse reasonable. If they do THAT though, they'd better find an excuse to put in more "almost" villains. Like I don't know, young ganondorf (like a before he turned evil ganondorf or something). Or every case of a friendly monster including just off chances like the OoT spirit temple sage IN full iron knuckle armor (At least with alt outfit and weapon). As a side note: I'm hoping to aggressively hand out wooden swords with "Take this its dangerous to go alone" old man. Given out over the top anime this could be... Old man with wooden sword might end up pretty badass. Thanked by: SchAlternate, psychospacecow
Fi's trailer is out. I know it's cool to hate on Fi and all, but I was kind of looking forward to see her in combat since her ballet/ice skating gig seemed like it could make for an interesting playstyle. Ironically, Fi's battle grunts seem like one of the less grating ones (though honestly, I don't remember her being THAT annoying, if only kind of monotone.) I like the music, whatever it's supposed to be.

Honestly, I never found any of the helpers in Zelda annoying in the slightest. The only one I dislike is Fi, but that's because she's kinda boring.

I don't care for her computer-esque personality. It's so out of place that it just comes off as super obnoxious. And unlike helper characters that people are generally annoyed with such as Navi, she actually FORCES her help onto you. Most of the time you HAVE to listen to what she has to say which is really annoying when you're like me and really enjoy the feeling you get when you can solve a puzzle using nothing but your intuition.
Fi is the worst helper, period. But maybe she'll be better as a fighter. (Tatl is the best helper, btw) Thanked by: Mystie, SchAlternate, Crappy Blue Luigi, BullockDS, Paladin, psychospacecow, Terminal Devastation, E-Man

Small footage showing Zelda using the Wind Waker:
Basically controls gusts of wind to slice enemies and fires music notes. Overall a pretty fun looking weapon.

Sounds like different attacks play samples of ocarina tunes as well. I definitely heard Song of Storms and Saria's Song in there.
Um ... is it possible to actually be defeated by minor enemies in these games? Because it looks like you're more or less invulnerable most of the time. |
