The trouble with ads

I keep getting directed to http://aperture.displaymarketplace.com/ for some odd reason. I know it can't be a virus, because I have AVG installed and protecting me from potential viruses and threats at all times. Anyone else getting this?

some googling about it suggests you might have a malware problem, and anti-viruses sometimes miss those. I'd run Malware Bytes and maybe Combofix to see if they can find it.

There's this ad.

Dora staring at a bare butt is bizarre, but the two stick figures making love in the bed is pretty unsettling.

G-Haven's completely right and it's a good suggestion, however: ComboFix has a tendency to fix things that aren't broken and sometimes upset another registry key in a different place. I once ran ComboFix on a client's machine and lost the ability to make new folders...just the new folders. It was bizarre.

I'd suggest using something like HijackThis and looking around for "Aperture" in the strings that come up, and just deleting that one problematic string. Like ComboFix, if you're not careful you can wreck something, so exercise caution when you're working with it and delete strings that you know for sure are the ones giving you issues.

I generally use ComboFix as a last resort. No doubt it's an awesome application, but if you're still getting the issue with the redirect after tinkering with HijackThis and it's driving you bonkers, THEN I'd use ComboFix.

Sorry, I fix people's malware mistakes for a living, so I have to weigh in when I read things on Internet forums, too. ):
