Here's two of the spritesheets completed.
That shadow is pretty awesome. Nice work!

If I'm not mistaken, that's Hawkmon from the Digimon series. Neweegee also mentioned that somewhere in his thread.

Yep, it's Hawkmon from Digimon Adventure, he was in a sheet I made a while back!
Also Silversea, if you're wondering what happened with Dusk, I kinda held it back since I didn't think I had what it takes to make it, so I tried to do other sprites until, hopefully, I would've learned enough spriting techniques to do Dusk properly.
This is the last try I gave it after starting Sonic CD styled Mario(this sprite ain't Sonic CD styled tho).

Yeah the reason I chose the dusk is because it has a really specific style that would be an interesting challenge. The motion is very loose and would require a lot of work (but hopefully enjoyment). No worries! I might try it myself one day if I have the time.

I'm pretty sure there is no Black on the head for what I remember of the Dusk Nobody. Or was this to point out the gray more?

The dusk's slender body is also a pretty big point of the design, so I suggest taking another look at that!

They are darker on the forehead but not black -- can see it blending in too easily if you don't darken it though.

I based the coloring on Mario's from Super Smash Bros for 3DS; I think it fits well with Sonic CD's style.
First of all, It looks great, BUT, Mario's head should bob up and down in the pushing, he lacks a back-leaning animation, and the forward-balancing animation has 4 frames. Also, could you make the Kirby characters in the new style (Kirby, Meta Knight, & Dedede)?

No it doesn't. Are you sure you didn't mix your games? He mentioned Sonic CD, not Sonic 2.

Uh, I'm tagging on to the necro train, only to let y'all know this thread was like, 3 months old...
i know this is Mario in sonic style but it's kinda... uncanny to actually give him sonic powers
Mario and Sonic are both in SSB and they don't copy each other's moves just because they're in the same game

Assuming the sheet is used in a hack as per usual, he doesn't actually seem to have the same powers- the spinning's there since certain parts of Sonic 1 force you into spinning, but a lot of character hacks remove the move outside of those conditions.

You're right, sorry conflated 1 and CD
Yeah, I know that, however the "feet rotating like mobius strips" is too uncanny for him. Maybe use something akin to Mario 3's P-dash.
