Need some feed back for some custom super smash bros models

i created a few custom smash bros models, im focused on the n64 id like some character ideas to work on too.

What exactly is going on with these models? They look like strange puppets.

I understand that you're trying to make models based on the first Smash Bros. game, but I think these could do with having them look a little less blocky and segmented. Also, the proportions look off on these. Peach has this tiny waist and chest, while Samus has bulky legs. As for the heads of both ladies, they are unnaturally tiny.

For this model I'd suggest basing it off of Samus in SSB64 for proper proportions, but then trimming the suit bulk to make way for her uh
figure. yeah

the body looks better but the head just needs to be ever so slightly bigger to match the proportions.
