I've made a couple minor changes to the thread display. Nothing major, just changed the outline at the bottom of all posts from 2px to 1, and separated the "next oldest | next newest" line from the post above it a bit more.
I've also moved the "Users browsing this thread" bar.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you
Thank you!! It much feels more comfortable and proper now.

General update:
Changed the post icons to something more relevant and less backwards-seeming.
I've been wanting to do this since before the software change (I actually made these quite a while ago) but long story short the software update allowed for more flexibility with the icons so I had to wait.

As you can clearly see, I'm currently playing around with the colors on the main skin(s) to make them not be so blindingly white.
I saved a copy of the old color scheme so that I could revert back to it if necessary and then went ahead and did a find+replace function to change all instances of pure white on a mass scale which will likely throw a lot of stuff off.
If you see something that looks off, please let me know. Color suggestions are very helpful.
The main color scheme will remain the same of course (near-white backgrounds, near-black text) but I can play around with the values a bit.

The new icons look great, and i really appreciate the dimmer grey over the bright whites of the old themes
Here's hoping that a dark theme "proper" is somewhere down the pipeline..? Although as I've said the grey tone is a massive improvement and my eyes thank you ever so very much!

Yes, there is a Dark theme on the way (I did a lot of work on it last night) but it's still very much in the testing stages.
I'll try to get it out as soon as possible.

I personally like the white BG over this. Is there going to be a setting for that soon or is it going to stay like this? .o.

I'm actually partial to the lighter background, and the current grey is a bit strange. Maybe a sort of off-white/very-light-grey would be better.
I can understand that some people would be uncomfortable with bright colours though, so maybe as Quirby said this would be good as a setting if possible. At least until the dark theme is done.

If worse comes to worst, I could either revert back entirely or just make a new skin with the original scheme for the people that want it.
That's up to Dazz and Petie, though.

Personally, I would like it if there were not all these borders everywhere. They look a little bit jarring to me and I was used to how it was handled prior to the change.

Point out the specific ones you don't want and I'll see what I can do about them.

Try the ones on the user profile and maybe on the lists for all the forum threads.

I can't get rid of them, but I brightened them up so they blend more and aren't as noticeable. Better?
