It's a ditty, alright, a very simplistic melody and very interesting to look at in Audacity, since your lead instruments are relegated to the right channel along with the bassline, while the harmony and drums seem to be left-biased. Practice stereo balance and dynamics, where lower volume and more centered stereo balance can make an instrument seem farther away.

Here's a diagram of how an orchestra is arranged, with a listener sitting somewhere in the audience behind the conductor. For a rock arrangement, think of the cellos and contrabasses as the bass guitars and synths, and the violins as the lead guitars and synths, with drum kits mostly in the center and lead vocals where the conductor would be.

Here's an example of dynamics in action, along with some reverb, where drums can sound widely different based on the environment around them. Practice changing the volume, EQ, and reverb of your drums and see if they can't sound like they come from any of the places featured in this video.
