I have do a tutorial for Wii U ripping with all necessary programs : http://www.vg-resource.com/thread-28678.html
The Wii U models are x4 polygons vs the Wii and textures are x3 ,NOTE: The 2 DLC have much better textures vs normal textures of MK8.
About emulators, now there are CEMU in devellopement : Super Mario Maker can run at 60FPS in NES SNES mode.
Super Mario 3D World work also but with terrible framerate and low luminosity.
I'm now studying the Wii U executables with IDA Pro, Wii U use also OpenGX for rendering, gamepad controls can be changed from executable.
