I cannot send it... it weights over 790MB... I dumped Dolphin 4.0 32 bit... becuz 64 bit crashes on windows 7. What can I do?... Memory dumping sucks...  Cry

I made a quickbms script to dump the brres files.
http://puu.sh/d0Tta.bms
Get quickbms, and use this script on the dump file

ok... let's find out if there's still Bress files to rip from the dump file. because i'm not only interested on that little big doggie... I'm also interested in helping others. becuz if I ever want a model from a game... I rather rip ALL models from that game... and share them (if I'm allowed to and only in this page)... just to make sure somebody who likes the anime, will have the model of any character.
that includes the shinsengumi as well... of course. Smile
even the Elizabeth model (The only one I dislike from Gintama. but I will share it as well)

Edit: At first I believed it has an error... but it seems the Brres file is done succesfully... I'll check it.

Edit: Bress viewer crashed upon loading the almost 800mb bress file I dumped... I never had on my entire life so much problems since I tried to load cheat codes on my Ps3 with CFW DEX.
...I'm getting on my nerves... you know what?... I QUIT!
All I did is just making troubles, I'm supposed to contribute, but all I had learned about programing is just this.
------
10 cls
20 print "Hello"
30 goto 20

run
------
I only know to rip models only from Dolphin, reading Bress from viewer and convert them.
even unpack them (Mostly with Noesis).
so what the heck can I do?. just quit... so Hazuki320. if you want the shinsengumi models it's better to learn how to use the best modeling program that suits yourself, model them and rig them to your liking. because I think we've found the ISO that all the models are unripable and unconvertable. and ironically it's the only source I know where a 3D Sadaharu appears. apart of J-Star Victory VS. Cry
I would love to see this finally completed. but It seems Dolphin 4.0 sucks at dumping as well as the bress viewer sucks at loading the dumped files.

The files seem to be compressed in memory (which caused my script to break), I suppose you are out of luck getting the raw files.
Alternatively you can use NinjaRipper to rip the models with Dolphin.
For what it's worth I made a BMS script to extract the PAC files, maybe you can use it for model swapping and such.

I did that kind of stuff the first time, and indeed it suceeded, but the problem isn't just how bad it ripped or not... the problem is just attemptint to separate the target model from anything else (Scenario or other characters)... in my case, I patiently attempted to rip Sadaharu from the scene he bites Gintoki's head and Gintoki's polys almost got fused with Sadaharu's and even worse... being the models cel shaded isn't good at all, because when I attempted to wield every single extra vertex, Sadaharu became glitchy black.
And even if I manage to solve it (that I cannot), the bigger problem will be rigging that model, because You need to modify every vertex weight and 3DS max isn't good for it... I rather prefer the Mesh Deformer from Cinema 4D that Works perfectly when used properly in rigging.
So, if you wanna use Ninja Ripper (Or 3D Ripper DX) ok... do it... but don't count on me.
I expected the files to be cracked and converted... if I had to do it myself, I would do it already without ever asking for help here. isn't it?

Sorry for my rudeness, but I was desperately crazy for that dog model, and unless there's a master demigodly hacker that knows how to rip it from J-star victory VS and convert it in DAE with full rigging, I can't be happy.
it seems I came here just for Nothing.

I can't contribute, I can't get a single model I request.

I'm sorry for being such a -censored- useless piece of garbage. Cry

Er... it was stated that the compression was irreversible, so it can't be uncompressed.
Your issue seems to be more about you being unable to fix up ripped models and rig models in general.
When using NinjaRipper you can import only the meshes you want if you look at which texture each mesh uses.
Aside from that, the way you act makes it seem like you have terrible self-esteem issues while no one is expecting you do anything here.
We all do this stuff as a hobby after all Wink

Farlavor, I hate to say this, and I'm sorry if I come off rude, but stop acting like we all need to cater to your needs.

you don't have to say that... just I got tired of the same situation that no matter what I do, nothing works or just I had to end doing it by myself, just becuz we can't get models from one damn game ISO.

and having to deal with it, considering that with all I've done unpacking the PAC files and getting the brmdlz files, just only got nothing but freezes and crashes with the viewer... You would have to blame the author of the viewer for not making it more supportable for ALL the variations of brres files instead of me.

Everyone has interests on something in this page... even you.
I am ONLY interested in rigged animal/monster/creature models. So using ninja ripper isn't the proper choice to achieve that goal.
maybe a full version of Gameassasin may solve it (Becuz it imports bones and weights as well), but... to get one is like winning the lottery.
And honestly, I AM NOT the one who can get the models of ANY -censored- game, because RTB and others can rip games from 3DS games, and I only know the basics of ripping that comes with the tutorial from this page and even I don't have a 3ds with Gateway, making the ripping of 3DS roms impossible. my 3ds have 6.1+ firmware. so even if I get the flashcart, it will not work.

Hex editing and creating scripts on my own is impossible to me. but the only ones who participates are TGE and me.
Why should I do this if I can't even do simple rippings no matter what I do with the tools TGE gave me?
here the only ones who helped are only two of us, and you instead of saying that, you would help as well... at least you would do it a thousand times better than me. maybe you would break the compression from the brmdlz files and make it work with Brres viewer or even create a noesis script that support brres files, hint hint.

but if they want to make unrigged models with Ninja Ripper, okay. do it. alas it seems that is the only choice. Sad
but I don't wanna take part of it, I don't know how to solve the problems I have with those ripped models.
I did used that method and ripped succesfully, but the hard part is deleting the background, erasing minor characters and wielding the vertexes of the characters... becuz the black border of cel shading fuses with the texture maps and makes the model glitchy. If it happened with Sadaharu, the same will happen with anything else.

That's why I was against the idea of using ninja ripper. not only just for the lack of rigging, is just because it RIPS all the in-game scenario and it's a pain to delete all the unnecesary poly just to find a little piece of those poly atached to your models and having to delete it carefully without damaging your models. and after finishing and do the vertex wielding to reduce CPU usage, just you find out your shinsengumi look like they have a kind of black TV noise visual effect on them. isn't that a very serious problem to solve guys?

if that kind of warning is too ofensive to you Mistie, then my apologies for being just desperated.

Following this you'll get to a dead link for a decompressor, that's all I can find
