On making requests

Hello.

I am completely new to this forum, having signed up minutes ago. I heard that in order to make a request, you must first have had at least 20 posts. (See here for reference: http://www.vg-resource.com/thread-14648.html)

Is this true? And if so, what does it mean have made 20 "posts"?

Yes, in order to make a request you must have made at least 20 quality posts (posts with meaning). It's also necessary to be a member on the forums for at least a month. Familiarity often increases your chances of the request being accepted.

And a post is exactly what you just did. Share how you feel about something, acknowledge someone's talent, maybe give someone some helpful advice, all of which are accomplished through posting.

Your post count is under your username and avatar, as well.

Anyway, welcome to the forums! Hope you eventually get what you're looking for, maybe get to know the place a bit in the process. Smile
