How to Rip M&L:BiS?

M&L:BiS been ripped some much, but we do not have much backgrounds...so I want to know how to rip this game :/

Check out the zips in the BIS Ripping Project. "Overworld Objects/Characters" might contain the stuff you're looking for. Otherwise you would have to hard-rip the backgrounds by disabling all other layers and taking screenshots (DeSmuME is the recommended emulator for this).
In any case, it'd be nice to have progress and such posted in the project thread I linked.

That reminds me, I should really get myself back into this...
