Holiday Haul Thread

Every Christmas most part of my family members reunite so this is a perfect opportunity to talk with relatives that we don’t see for a long time due to distance and busy life.

Of course one of the best ways to keep in touch with everyone is during eating time. There was plenty of stuff, most homemade where every member brought something.

For gifts I got a wireless mouse, books (Dom Casmurro, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and a book about dogs) and some cash.

Having parents of two different religious ties, I got to celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas. Well, we actually only really celebrate the Jewish holidays out of respect for my father's family. He's not really religious himself, but he is insistent on respecting the holidays.
Basically, we celebrate the Jewish holidays with my dad's side, and then Christmas we spend with my mom's side.
The present load for Hanukkah has been getting smaller and smaller as we got older, so I wasn't really expecting much. My only present for Hanukkah was Yo-kai Watch.
Oh, and I also got money from my uncle and my grandparents. They like to do this every year for all the members of the family.

For Christmas, we took a five hour drive to St. Louis, as per tradition. We had a late lunch at Nana's house (my mom forgot to bring the turkey so we had to settle with ham). And then we gathered around in the TV room to open presents. I got the complete Peanuts Collection, years 93-94, 95-96, and 97-98. Only one more book left, which is due to be released sometime next year.
I also got a 3DS XL. Apparently they're not being manufactured anymore, which was why it was so difficult to even find one. I've transferred my data from my old 3DS to this one, and got to watch an adorable scene with Pikmin carrying the files from the source to the target system.
My sister and brother-in-law got me Chibi-robo: Zip Lash, so I'm playing that.
I also got the LEGO Movie DVD and the Peanuts movie soundtrack.
Oh, and I got this delicious-smelling chocolate cake-scented candle.

For my Christmas: we didn't do much outside of presents as we're saving the celebration until we finally get to move into our new home which is supposed to have been finished being set up by now, but I won't point fingers.

What I got for presents were some bags to store my dvds in (I'm an avid cartoon collector, so I have a ton of dvds), a wallet designed to protect against people scanning it for information, a pro-bacon shirt, a jacket, and some cartoon dvds (namely, Iron Man, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Spider-Man, and Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers Vol.2, and We're Back!).

I DON'T KNOW WHY but for some reason I'm really, really intrigued to know exactly what this 'DoohicKey' is. Is it like an all-in-one tool or something, lol

Based on the way he wrote it out, I'm guessing he is talking about this DoohicKey.

^Yep, it's that. I basically imagine it as a Swiss Army Knife, except not a knife, and not swiss. and not for an army

also why is there a gap ALSO I forgot to mention it but I got a how to draw book for the drawing style used in like, The Fairly Odd Parents and Dexter's lab (the book calls it 'retro style' but I dunno if that's because those cartoons are like, 10 years old)
