Porygon's the Virtual Pokemon.

Right. But he was still man made.
several pokemon were created by humans.
Mewtwo, Grimer/Muk, Voltorb/Electrode, etc

To be fair, those ones were complete accidents. Mewtwo is a genetic experiment gone wrong, Grimer and Muk being a consequence of water pollution, and Voltorb/Electrode adapting because of human influence.
Porygon is the only other Pokemon humans invented intentionally, but it's mostly a computer software made physical. Magiana appears like it would be more an automaton given sentience, so it's really just a fresh spin on the whole "artificial Pokemon" thing. Golett, Golurk, Baltoy, Claydol, and Castform were all intentional. edit: also Mewtwo was a complete success, he was too powerful lol Thanked by: psychospacecow

Genesect's a similar story to Mewtwo as well, only with a pinch of fossil resurrection as well. I guess I'm just curious what your point is, Koops? Technology in harmony with nature has been a constant theme of the Pokemon franchise as a whole, it's not like this thing is like, edging in on Porygon's territory.
However I'm not pleased at this thing looking like a Fairy/Steel type. We already have too many of those. "Oh hey let's remove both of the Fairy types' weaknesses! That'll be fun to fight! And easy to balance!" Ughhhh Thanked by: psychospacecow

Isn't Mawile the only (potentially other) Fairy/Steel Pokemon? And I don't really see what the issue is with getting rid of a couple of weaknesses. It'll still be weak to fire at the very least. Ground too if it doesn't have Levitate for an ability. Is the issue that Fairy Type is such a big game-changer? Because before gen 6 Darkrai and Sableye had no weaknesses at all (unless you used Foresight or Odor Sleuth). And the Tynamo evolution line has Levitate which gets rid of their only weakness.

You also have Klefkii, who still has the glaring weakness to Ground and Fire, but is paired with a kick ass Prankster Ability. Both Mawile and Klefkii recieved a lot of love from Gamefreak, the former's Mega Evolution made it one of the strongest attackers in Pokemon history, while Klefkii became the most annoying thing to fight ever thanks to a combination of Prankster, Swagger, and Thunder Wave.
Chances are, if this thing is Steel/Fairy as well, it'll get some wicked ass special attack/ability and could potentially be as annoying to fight. Though, that's early speculation. Thanked by: Monobrobe, SchAlternate

I somehow doubt this one will be Steel/Fairy type. Maybe Steel/Psychic or something.
