I'm ripping sounds from ALttP, and I'm wondering whether fanfares like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlN4d5zLliQ, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kNw--mDQ78, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhwZtInvhA0, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-VSkDwmOF4 can be included. The game considers them sound effects, and has different versions for which side of the screen you're on, but I don't know if that's reason enough to include it.

I don't see why you can't include them after all, The NES version has there version of the fanfare in it plus I'm pretty sure these are sound effects.

These would be considered sound effects by me, they're not long or complicated enough to count as music.
