Question: Do we have to sprite/art each other's refs? I think we should all post them just in case people can't decide what to sprite/draw/whatever.

I'll join, but I have some questions.
1. Can it be hand-drawn or both drawn and sprited? I didn't quite understand you. 2. If we post the gifts here, won't everyone know who gave what to who?

1. Yeah, it can be anything, as long as it's art.
2. edit- nevermind, That wouldn't work

Tell me, how do you decide who makes a gift for who?

Maybe we could PM the gifts to the guy who's organizing it then he can post them here.

As I wrote, it could also be a sprite of Banjo if that person is a fan of Banjo. (11-13-2008, 09:27 PM)1up01 Wrote: 1. Can it be hand-drawn or both drawn and sprited? Sure, everyone knew who gave them the present... Yeah, I guess it would work better if everyone sent their gift to me so I would post it anonymously - That way I could also look that people who haven't made something wont get something... I'm going to edit the first post with that. (11-13-2008, 10:16 PM)koopaul Wrote: Tell me, how do you decide who makes a gift for who?I look who whates whom at most to make this more interesting. Kidding. I'm going to write a little app that assigns the names randomly. Should work. Mr.E: Just to make sure you read the changes in organisation: I Wrote:Gifts should be sent to me via PM until the twenty-fourth (24.12). I'll post them here on the twenty-fifth (25.12). If you know that you wont have time at the thwenty-fourth, send it to me earlier so I can post it for you then. If you don't send me something till then, I'll make sure you wont get something.

Couldn't you just write down our usernames and choose them from a hat?

I'd say I'm in, but I can't sprite or draw. I approve of this, though.
Also, why did this get unstickied?

I thought about sending a reminder to all participants anyway.
I could do that, 1up01, sure. But I like creating little apps. So, are you in or not, Emma?

I really didn't get it. The person who gets the gift won't know who gave it to him/her? Where's the fun in that?
11-14-2008, 10:50 AM
That's the way Secret Santa works, Cesar.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Santa Wrote:Secret Santa is a Western holiday tradition in which members of a group are randomly assigned other members to whom they anonymously give a gift. This way it may be fun to guess who made your present. |
