(October 25th is the release date, save your pennies if you haven't gotten it already)
This looks very promising.
I can't wait to wear that wonderful elk horn helmet.

Ice sorceries are back. There was some kind of destructo disk miracle shown in the trailer too. I can't wait to see all the new weapons, hopefully we will get a lot of unique movesets and skills.

There are theories that the bosses have connections to some common theme.
The truth is that it's probably just padding, because the trailer is still a commercial, and it's to draw people into buying the game who haven't yet by showing off some of the cooler bosses without spoiling too many DLC bosses to those who have the game already.
I'm thinking the DLC will probably have about 3-4 bosses. I'm leaning more towards 3 since the game will have another DLC down the line, which would also have about 3-4. I'd love it if they went all-out and had a ton of bosses for each pack, but I'd prefer quality over quantity any day.

Three or four bosses would be just fine. Even better if the fourth one is one of those secret/well hidden bosses you would miss if you weren't willing to explore. Exploration was something I wanted a bit more of in DS3, honestly. There are some areas where it's more or less impossible to get lost even during your first playthrough.

How so? Because there are ways to respec your stats. If you wasted materials though, that could be rough.

I don't think the PS4 version is available until tomorrow, so if you got it on the other versions let me know how it is. I'm super excited for it.

Oh dear dear.
They screwed up last night and season pass owners on Steam couldn't access the DLC.
Well it's downloading for me now, maybe it will be working.

I've played for bit. It's great. The new world looks very, very nice and the enemies fit it perfectly. Difficulty wise, I was playing on NG++ with a SL120 character (after trying it briefly with a SL40 on NG and finding it too easy) and it was what you would expect, being a little harder than the standard game mostly.
The one boss fight I've found so far was pretty good but could have been done better.
Phase one is a nun with a scythe, phase two is the nun + big Lava soup guy from the trailer, phase three is just the nun with a power boost. I was hoping Lava soup guy would be the main boss here along with having a larger moveset. But it was fine.
I'm still looking for the other boss and whatever else I have missed so far.
