run animation could probably use more bounce, a la in pokemon DS games.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually fixed it up yesterday. Sorry about the size, but the app I use on my phone won't allow me to post a normal sized gif.
I've fixed up and changed pretty much all of the walk animations making their hands and feet a little more active and animated.

The hands could stand to swing further back since they swing so far forward, in my opinion. It feels like an unbalanced movement as it is.

More edits. Made the hands sway back a bit more as suggested by virt as well as added some more subtle pixel changes and alterations. Top is old bottom is new
Edit: it wasn't worth wasting a post on these. Here are the current walk animations in all directions. Zack's need quite a bit of work still.
As well as Rachell's current run animations

Some of the devs on Pokemon Heatwave and Hailstorm were debating on whether we would make 96x96 gen 5 style sprites or higher resolution 160x160 sprites, so I made this Pikachu to test higher resolution Pokemon sprites.

I decided to try working within palette limitations. I've started redoing Pokemon Sun and Moon Pokemon with Gameboy Color restrictions. For anyone that is unaware of what the restrictions are:
I can only use 3 colors, one of them being black, and a transparency layer (typically white). I am also only taking colors from the existing sprites from Pokemon Crystal Version so as to stay true to its palette.
Here are Rowlet and Litten:
I'm still working on Popplio, it'll most likely be up tomorrow. I do plan on expanding to more Pokemon afterward so if you have any requests let me know.
My main goal isn't to just recreate the messy sprites of the older games like many people do, but to translate the modern designs into the older limitations. Any advice or criticism is welcomed.

Here's Popplio:
I have two color variations. The left is more of a purple for better shading while the right is pink to more closely match the original artwork's colors. I wasn't sure which was better.
Here's also a dump of Pokemon Heatwave and Hailstorm artwork I made some time ago. I'd say its fine to post them since its dead now, and its still pokemon related artwork.
The water type starter, Newtie.
General Tiles.
An early sprite for the professor's lab
It would also appear that many of my old Photobucket images are broken. I use Imgur now, so I'll have to switch the sprites over later.

Haven't really had much motivation for art lately, but the recent Sonic Mania Opening Animation got me pretty inspired to make some Sonic sprites.
The sprite is half based off of the artwork in the animation and half my own style. I wanted to make a sprite that would stand out when comparing it to other Sonic sprites by choosing a different, warmer palette, as apposed to the typical cold palettes most people use for Sonic. I also wanted to show Sonic's more childlike, happy go lucky personality traits, rather than the edgy 90's, cocky attitude, many people portray.
On the first frame of the crouch animation to the right I made his hand go a little too far down for the frame. I'm going to want to move it up a bit, make his hand more of a fist, and save the hand touching the ground for the next frame.
I also made some alternate palettes of Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Mania for fun. They aren't really relevant though...

Edit Reason: Fixed the timings on one of the crouch animations to sync correctly
)
Finished up the crouch animation and the idle spin dash animation (what it would look like if you held a without revving up).
I have run into a bit of an issue however. I have two variants of each animation, and am having a hard time deciding on one.
I have the first sprite with instant frames of Sonic being crouched, and the second with a couple of settling frames added. I like the settling one, but someone I showed it to preferred the instant one.
For the spin dash I have the one on the left using the original palette with no added colors and on the right using one extra, lighter color. I personally like the extra color, but am not sure how well it fits with the existing palette with the extra cold color added.
for a game, instant frames are better because it shows responsiveness.
im not sure about the spindash however, it looks like a sawblade instead of a vortex effect

Made a couple idle animations for Sonic.
and made a GBC sprite of Rockruff, my favorite gen 7 Pokemon. There are two different palettes as I couldn't decide on one.
This will most likely be the last smaller post I make here. I've brought my Deviantart page from years ago back to life in order to get some more exposure, and to post smaller artwork updates. I feel like I've been posting a bit too frequently here anyway. I will now use this Thread for when I either want some critique on a piece, or have a larger amount of work to showcase.

I like the Pokemon-styled sprites quite a bit.
Still unsure of the Sonic ones.
I like to make models in my free time. I also make weird games, too.

I've actually been thinking about starting to do a pokemon sprite or two a week in an attempt to one day, finish the pokedex and release it for public use.
