Is there a way to get notifications for when a sprite sheet, model, etc receives a new comment?

Not currently. It's relatively complicated to set up correctly but is on our list of things to get to eventually.

Edit:
That said, if you'd just like to know when comments are posted on your own sheets/models/etc., you can subscribe to an RSS feed of comments based on your submitter name and get updates that way now.
