Hello, fellow sprite-rippers!
Today, I was thinking about ripping sprites from a arcade game by Sega (Namely, Altered Beast, since it's TSR page is rather barebones sheet-wise). However, I could not find the sprite tiles anywhere in MAME's tile viewer.
Now I had read on several webpages (Including some on this site) that a majority of Sega's arcade games need to have ROM files merged in order for the sprites to show up in the tile viewer, but this process sounds a bit too complicated for this small horse's brain, so I'd like to know if there any more user-friendly methods of ripping sprites from Sega arcade games.
