Higan for Spriting Purposes?
#1
Hey! I was sort of asking about this in another thread, but I figured it'd be more appropriate to start my own so I can ask more in-depth.

How good is higan for sprite grabbing purposes? (My current strategy is to take screenshots and then edit them in Paint.net.) I know higan is primarily a Super NES emulator, but how good is it also for NES games, GBC, GBA, etc.?

I don't know much about higan itself but generally speaking, using specialized emulators is better. They not only tend to have more features but also have better compatibility and less issues with running games.

I'd recommend using system-specific emulators, but that's just me. As I said I'm unfamiliar with higan so maybe someone else can correct me.
