I can't watch online stuff.
Well you can't judge the game just by the name.
This one is different. They're using a completely new engine. With the new engine the camera bugs in Sonic games will be fixed, and hopefully so will the controls.
Trust me, if you're going to invest in a Sonic game this would be the one.

According to articles from IGN guys who have had a chance to play it, the transition between perspectives is seamless.
Just a personal opinion, but SA1's and SA2's cameras/controls weren't bad at all when compared to later 3D iterations.
My only worry is that they completely ruin half of the game with the were-hedgehog levels.

I don't know. If they make the were-hedgehog thing kinda like Corrupted Samus it'd be kinda cool. You know? With your health slowly depleting but power is rushing through you!

That same mechanic failed in Prince of Persia 3, so it depends upon how they do it. They say the were-sonic parts will be more combat focused, but I hope he still has decent speed.

Combat focused? I'm hoping for lots of combos and rad moves.

Hmmm, and here I thought everyone was hating this game because it had Sonic turn into a "werehog". But personally, the gameplay sounds and looks good.

As for the story-driven reason why Sonic makes a transformation at night, it's supposed to be related to some curse from the main threat. It sounds similar to Secret Rings' "flame arrow" curse (albeit, that didn't make Sonic a lycanthrope).

I think its more to do with the dark way, or how the whole full moon thing is said to turn people to werewolf's. I doubt people turn into werewolf's during the day.

Hey wait, wasn't the moon blasted in half in SA 2?

"Plotholes hold no sway on the moon" sounds better.

The ark is completely separate from the moon. It'd be much larger in scale when it was crashing down on earth. Ark was disguised as another moon/asteroid/thing.

SA1 and SA2 would also disagree.
Considering that the Advance, Rush, and Rivals series have all done well when compared to their console counterparts, the one common element is that they are platformers. Since Unleashed will be part platformer and part on-rails, I think/hope it'll be good. Note that I am also skeptical but am just keeping a positive outlook.

This game is actually looking good, at least what I've seen in the trailer. Some of the controls look good. The music sounds awesome too. The graphics on this game look awesome, I really see no problem with this game... yet. I hope the Hedgehog Engine turns out to be a success. I also hope that the Were-Sonic thing is going to workout good. IMO, I think Sonic is really making a comeback. And this game is suppose to release sometime in November right? I got to get me some cash by then.
