Can Edited UVS on models still be accepted?

I ripped models from Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo (PC) with ninja ripper but the uvs are messed up, can they still be accepted with fixed uvs?

It depends on whether the UVs were simple enough to replicate by hand or not. Though I'm sure you could still get your submission approved if nobody could tell the difference.
If possible, could you please show a before and after shot of the UV map so I can get the gist?
