Kirby Triple Deluxe BCH.CMP files?
#1
Hi, I've been trying to rip some model files from Kirby Triple Deluxe to view in Ohana3ds Rebirth. I've extracted the files but rather than being in .bch file format they are .bch followed by .cmp which I think means that they are compressed but I'm not really sure what to do from here. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.  Smile

They're LZ11 compressed, any decompressor for that format should do.
I do know that there is a version of Ohana3DS that supports the cmp files as is, with no decompression. AFAIK it's the Version on GBAtemp.

The new version of Ohana3DS, Ohana3DS Rebirth, has more file support, and also allows exporting the skeleton. That's more useful for ripping, and the original Ohana3DS is more useful for hacking.

all i did for mine was remove the .cmp and just left it as a BCH file, and Ohana Rebirth was able to load it with ease.

For me, ohana rebirth did it without removing the .cmp. It says it's a recognized file.

Im trying this and nothing seems to be working. maybe I just downloaded it wrong or its damaged or in the wrong format, but when I try opening the bch.cmp files in ohana rebirth, it just gives me a warning. im new to this and don't really know what im doing. im just trying to get the Kirby models from triple deluxe and robobot so I can make a low poly video of my own.
