my cousin has RRoD and wants to give the regular 360's HD to his 360 elite. how can we do this?

explain this better, does he want to transfer the files on his regular 360's HD to his 360 elite's HD or does he just want to put his hard drive in a different console

all 360s use the same kind of hard drive, elites just come with bigger ones. there will be no problem in the transfer

there's a button on the hard drive you can mash down and then pull the hard drive out
