Hello!
First time here , and would also like to contribute a tad.
Going straight to the point, I have a Digimon Story Dusk rom, and I want to rip sprites from it, because I saw the tSR page doesn't have all the digimon sprites, but when I opened it I found myself with a few .PAK files that don't open with winrar or tinke.
The folder names are barely intuitive too (for someone with my knowledge of course), but I can manage with that, the problem are the .PAK files at the end of the "dat" folder, and I wanted to check them out because of the "SPR" part of the name, but I can't find a way to open them.

I tried to open them with winrar, tinke itself, and also tried Sprite Explorer and Wally, but those don't seem to find the files "proper", per say. Ended up uninstalling them because they weren't useful for what I needed them.
I found tinke by RBY's guide on how to rip NDS games, but haven't found (or looked around thoroughly enough to find) a solution for this. Was able to figure out how to rip menu sprites though, but no digimon.
Also, regarding RBY's guide on ripping NDS games, all images on his post are dead, it's just a string of text with no hyperlink or anything, so I'm quite confused as to how to operate the program to begin with lol.
Any help or link to a helpful source would be greatly appreciated.
PS: The 2 programs I tried that weren't of use I got them from this page but those are for games like HL2, Quake, CS, stuff like that.
