Try to just extract the base game because you don't need a title key there. If there is no error then you know that you have a faulty title key, if the same error still occurs try to delete the prod.keys file. If this does not change anything in the error, then you know that your prod.keys are probably incorrect.

Anyone know the best way to reattach clothes models to the bones of the original?
I have been trying to do this with Cinema4d and it messes up the weight maps, the closest I can get is through Joining them in blender than exporting to FBX.

Sorry if this is too much of a newbie question, but are there textures for the player/villager's skin tones from the extract? I got the base model, clothes, hair and the textures for face, but can't find anything for the skin. Was that just something game's programming generated on its own?

No, I'm afraid not. Their skin tones are generated through the game's coding, not through textures. The hair has the same issue.

Maybe I can find some RGB color code data in the extract.

I would also like to know how to do this. I'm trying to rip Isabelle, and I have her body and clothes models in and textured, but I can't figure out how to combine the armatures of the body with that of the clothing.

Right now I am just doing the base game ripping, But when I do the 4th step this error pops up: [WARN] prod.keys does not exist.
{Snipped, don't link to private keys.}

So, did we ever figure out how to solve the issue with the rigging being out of order?

@RyTEM05 sounds like wrong keys to me. Follow the steps mentioned in answer #107 - https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-36986...#pid660991

Hi, I have a bit of a problem with a model, I exported a squirrel model (Marshall) using the provided tool and imported it to Blender. The model loaded but the shadow is inconsistent on the head along with lighting that is also inconsistent with the rest of the model plus the seams are visible, I've tried to export it again to check if it was the cause of the problem and the results were the same as before. I did some searching for similar issues to other forums, followed the suggestions (recalculate normals, check if faces are flipped and remove doubles) and the problem still persists.
Here's the screenshot:
Any help is appreciated.

Blender does not automatically apply the correct texture maps, therefore you have to apply the texture manually otherwise your results will look like what you described. For Information on how to do this check out this thread and post #69. You may also need to rip the required textures yourself - see the main post for details.
