Hi. I know this is a long-shot, but I've been working at this for several days straight, all day, and have used about 7 different tools. No matter what I try, it doesn't seem to work.
A sample of the files I am talking about can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...sp=sharing
Basically, the OST files are fully ripped, but they seem to be encrypted. By fishing around in the files, myself and another person were able to find the decryption key, which I've also saved in a plain .txt in that Google Drive folder. However, even after decrypting the files, the resulting .hca's/.wav's, when played, return a bunch of garbage noise. We think it's something like the Dragalia Lost OST encryption, but using the tools linked in threads about it (deretore) did nothing/returned further garbage.
It is possible we're just using them incorrectly, but if anyone has any ideas/would be willing to help, that would be incredibly appreciated. I can't seem to get a good answer anywhere, and I've tried everything I can think of at this point.
EDIT: We know this is possible, because someone (who rips other game OSTs, like Dragalia Lost) accidentally uploaded a song from the soundtrack. Unfortunately, they not only ignored my comment, but unlisted the video. What with the decryption key working and proof it's possible, I'm really hoping some kindhearted sound can help.
I don't know how to delete threads but somehow it just worked. Sorry,!
