Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Model Issue
#1
Question
I've been generally successful at getting a lot of the models out of this game by myself. A lot of the characters models I've gotten are rigged and what not, perfectly fine. I've gone through .arc files and gotten down to the .mod files. I'm using SPICA to open them and convert .mod to .dae and .tex to .png. However, while some .mods open, others give me this error.

Here's the details of the error.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Does anyone know what I should do with this?

This error has persisted for a few character models. Not the majority, just an annoying amount; including all the background models too (i.e the courtrooms and fully 3D investigation environments).

Here's a link to a .mod (with the textures already converted, but that doesn't really change anything with the file being unopenable on my end, so don't worry) with the .lfx I am using. It came with the game's files.
Here's an additional model, a courtroom model, just in case it's a different problem between character models and environment models. The textures on this one had a strange export through SPICA, ending up a bit glitchy.

I don't know if this an overhead issue, a SPICA issue, or an issue with the shader.

I've fixed my problem.

I don't know what's wrong with SPICA, but opening it up in 3DS max using the MT Framework tools allows me to get into these files that SPICA cannot.

And nevermind apparently. My 3DS Max, despite being a demo, has gotten a licensing error and won't let me open it anymore.

Would anyone be willing to help me convert some .mods to .fbx through 3DS Max via this tutorial? Just conversion, I'm doing the re-texturing. I'm just keen to get the courtroom all done (the second file I linked in my original post).

If not, I've already contacted customer support to see if they'll help me with the licensing issue and hopefully a resolution can be reached by tomorrow afternoon.

Before 3DS Max farted out on me (and I really do mean that, it straight up just teleported off my computer as soon as the installation of everything Autodesk was putting in there was done) I did manage to get about three files converted. Here's a peek.
