So I'm here with recent submission stuff.

[Image: OWOe4sY.gif]                     [Image: 8RZ5pKo.gif]

The thumbnail of my latest submission, Mother Brain!

And the accompanying Rinka, also included in the full sheet.
As far as the Brain herself went, I basically wanted to combine the original and modern designs.
So she's mostly the original Mother Brain, but she has a big ol' third eye right there above her face.

I probably didn't need to over complicate the Rinka quite so much...But it looks cooler than the original.

Alright. Now that my NES Enhanced Ridley is up on the main site, here's a look at what I'm currently working on.

PRESENTING: NES ENHANCED KRAID, FAKE KRAID, AND FAKE RIDLEY

Kraid is pretty much a massively downsized version of the Big Kraid on the first page (alas, completion was not meant to be...).
The featured Fake Kraid here is just the main Kraid shrunken down and modified/recolored into NES Fake Kraid's colors.

Fake Ridley is a revisit of the Manual Art Ridley I already submitted, colored like the unused Fake Ridley from the original Metroid. Which is funny, since my newest Ridley was retooled from the Manual Art Ridley in the first place. So now I have come full circle by once again retooling him back into an improved version of Manual Art Ridley.

Amazinggggggg.
This is such a difficult style and you're making it look incredibly easy.

Alright, alright! So I've been a bit busy.

[Image: a8y1uaC.png][Image: oWnSwUF.gif]
Every completed frame of my Dark Samus so far, + a gif of her Morph Ball.

An evolution of my Dark Samus sprites. Come a long way from V1. I think V4 is my best one yet.

Now, next up are some things I haven't seen much fanart and sprites of. Probably because...

The source material is pretty controversial.
This is, indeed, MB, otherwise known as Melissa Bergman, of Other M infamy. I always liked the idea of her, thought she deserved better than Other M.

Also featuring the Desbrachian.

I love when people sprite obscure characters. Incredible job!

And something else weird I got to working on: Alternate Metroid evolutions!
These little freaks sort of came about from the idea of "What if Metroid evolutions followed something that looked more like the Hunter Metroids from Prime?"
And so, fittingly, the "Hunter Evolutions" were born. They follow the same naming scheme as the original SR388 evolutions: from third onward they are the Alpha Hunter, Gamma Hunter, and Zeta Hunter. Unfortunately, I never figured out a design for the Omega Hunter, so the line just sort of ends here.

So I revisited these little freaks.

Quite an improvement overall. Not sure I like that weird split shell I put on the Gamma, I'll probably change that.

I'm back with another project!

Introducing: Mario Bros. Arcade!
[Image: r49aXti.png][Image: 2iF5OmV.png]

It started with me just making a silly little Mario sprite whose whole face was his nose. I used the Arcade Mario sprite as a reference point.
Then it snowballed into this.

And, further,

A pair of mockups of what I think these could look like as a game.
