Greetings!
After investigating for myself, I've managed to obtain an .obj file from Transformers: Devastation (mainly thanks to this post):
My question is, how do I know which texture goes where inside Blender if they have ambiguous names? (In the case of the base and normal textures, they where already assigned in the .mtl).
In the following picture, I've named each texture file with what I think is supposed to be. In the case of bayoflatnormal.png, it already had a name, and now that I think about it while writing this, it may have been because of this plugin:
And this is the final render after assigning them in the node editor (again, In the case of base and normal textures they where already set up):
Did I just nail it at first try or is there something else that I should at least be aware of?
Just in case you need it, I've attached all of the above images, project files, and some more with this post (
birb.zip (Size: 976.03 KB / Downloads: 115) ).
Thank you for reading!
